The domaine

Petit domaine de 2.3 hectares de vignes composées de sauvignon blanc (1/4) et Merlot (3/4) entre Duras et Bergerac. Le domaine a été travaillé en bio depuis plus de 10 ans cependant pour des raisons administratives nous n'avons pas pu conserver la certification. Nous sommes donc en conversion depuis 2022, date à laquelle nous avons repris le domaine.
Pas de vendanges en 2022 puisque les vignes n'avaient pas été taillées depuis 2 ans, donc nous avons effectué un gros travail de restructuration tant sur la vigne, le sol que le palissage. Première vendange en 2023...
Nous aimerions travailler le sol le moins possible et recréer un écosystème autour des vignes en implantant arbres et moutons. En pleine reflexion...

The vines

Sauvignon blanc et merlot sur argilo-calcaires taillés en guyot ploussard, taille douce et respectueuse de la plante. 
Vigne totalement enherbée. 
Purins de plantes (Prêle, ortie, consoude, etc...) utilisés toute l'année en complément de soufre et cuivre...
Vendanges manuelles uniquement.
